The wine that fermented in a tub with grape skins and was thickened through withdrawal of the must formed the base of the extravagant Pinot grown on the volcanic soil. It matured in wooden barrels without any external interventions for one year. The lava like colour and natural minerality delineate the way from a glass to the grapevine roots penetrating the past when the Sitno volcano spouted burning ash and magma. The wine has been neither clarified or filtered nor mechanically stressed. Bottled using the gravitational flow.
